Aluminum conductors used on DC

I have a 1000V photovoltaic applicatin. The conductors are going to be buried in earth, type MC. Are there any issues about using aluminum on DC circuits? I am aware of the AC issues with termination and lug ratings? Are lugs rated for AC automatically suitable for DC?

RE: Aluminum conductors used on DC

Conductors and lugs, and their potential pitfalls, for DC should be no different than AC.
