S!
I'd like to know if there is on line analyzers for detection of silicon compounds in hydrocarbons stream, such as naphtha and Diesel cuts. What is the analytical method used for such analysis?
Best regards

RE: Silicon analyzers in hydrocarobn streams

PAC sells an automatic flash point lab analyzer uses thermal detection that captures flash point while eliminating interference from water or silicone.  Sick Maihak and others offer UV/VIS/NIR analyzers for hydrosilicon or SiF4 in HCl.  You might check with various multi-wave photometer suppliers for your application.

Most silicon analyzers apply to water, flue gas or ambient gas detection.
