Assy model not visible when doing part edit

Assy model not visible when doing part edit

(OP)
We seem to have a problem with one of our assemblies.

When we have it open, and then try and 'edit part' it opens like normal but the rest of the assembly isn't visible.

It only seems to be this one assy that affected and it's not machine specific either.

I thought I'd seen settings related to this somewhere but we couldnt' find them earlier and a google search didn't turn up anything.

Can anyone think of what I'm missing?

RE: Assy model not visible when doing part edit

The setting is Show/Hide Previous Level, but I don't think it is file specific, more a user setting.

In ST it's on View > Show.
In V20 it's under View (I think - I'm working from memory on this one)
I usually add it to a toolbar or the QAT.

Where would we be without sat-nav?
