Vault Admin tool "Create PDF files in the Vault . . ."
(OP)
I have decided to use the vault admin tool "Create PDF files in the Vault on normal check in of SolidWorks drawings". The tool does not work in SolidWorks 2009 so3. I talked to my VAR tech support. The VAR tested it and got the same results I had. The issue is now in SolidWorks hands.
I am sure this worked in the past. Has anyone found a way to make it work now?
I do not like it, but I am thinking we will have to print PDF's by hand.

We have that setting turned on in our vault but have not had that issue. We turned it on at SW08 SP04 or SP05 and it has worked ever since. Sorry to hear of your problem.

We've had it on for as long as Drafting Man, if not longer, spent time on SW 09 SP 3 and got everything authored the way it was supposed to. Perhaps it's because you're just turning it on rather than having had it on for some time.

You could be right. Have not heard anything from our VAR yet. I know that SolidWorks will find an answer and put the fix in SolidWorks 2010.
Note: We cannot upgrade. Money Managers say no.
