How to import the raster image in a right way?

How to import the raster image in a right way?

How to import the raster image in a right way?

(OP)
In these days, I am trying to import the image into the PRT file with NX6.

I am told it is not possible to import any format of image into the UG, except TIF version. Then I converted a MDI image to TIF and used Raster Image function.

Then, the problem occurs. After imported as a Raster Image into the new PRT modle, the image was either totally black or transparent. (The attached picture shows its black look.)

Please, anybody can tell me how to deal it in a right way? It will be really appreciated!

RE: How to import the raster image in a right way?

have you made sure that you are in studio mode for your rendering style? (use Mouse button 3)

Best regards

Since the Raster image is created as a sheet body, also make sure that under Visualization Preferences that 'Two-Sided Lights' are toggled ON.

The problem has been solved!

It might be the converter's problem. After I converted the same picture with Microsoft Paint again, the raster image was successfully imported. So I believe it is the software's problem. (Originally, I had used the Microsoft Office Document Imaging to convert a MDI file to a TIF one.)

But thanks for your advises all the same!
