I googled this question and cannot find a definitive defintion so I'm trying here.

In ASTM standards such as A216 and A234, what does the WC and WP stands for?  Is there an ASTM document that tells us exactly what the meaning for these?

W = Wrought or weldable?
P = pipe?
C = carbon or casting?????
