I just made the switch from NX5 to NX6, and I am not overly happy that they made a change with the annotation editor. There was really nothing wrong with how it is in NX5.

It there an icon to create the above and below text?

It is OK with me if I need to manually add the characters to create what I need, but it would be nice to have that icon

That capability is still there in NX 6.0, just rather than being included with the optional 'Insert Drafting Symbols' dialog as in the NX 5.0 Text Editor, it now has it's own exclusive dialog as shown below...



...which you activate by selecting now an option/icon labeled 'Fractions' from a list of the 'insert' options.
