protective coatings on ACCU in coastal area's
(OP)
My equipment supplier sugests to put a blue fin coating on the Air Cooled Condensing Unit due to the fact that the units are installed close to the sea. Now I have got som experience with Blygold as protection, but I do not know anything about blue fin coating. I also have the feeling that this is a cheap protection for only a short period, because they try to reduce costs. But my question is has anybody got experience with blue fin coating and how does it behave in a coatal area, and is it better, equal or wors than a blygold treatment.
Thanks
Thanks

will outlast any coating
the complete casing and compressor dome can rot away but the coil will still be intact

BronzGlow works pretty good.
Heresite works if the coils are dipped in it and it gets baked on, I have not had any success with field applied heresite.
All copper coils CAN be durable.
I was not overly impressed with Electrofin

Get Carrier to send it out to get 'Microguarded', they do this for me. My coastal arera is a caribbean island.
