Hi Handleman,
Can I ask you if you have a vba solution with solidworks to get some points of intersections in an excel table ?
Here I join a little explanation of my issue.
Many thanks in advance for heeling on it.
Michel

Many thanks for your reply. I am going to try your solution. I must have a look on how it works because I've never worked with that option "design table" in solidworks.
Many thanks again.

If you already have the 3D model you can create an Intersection curve between your sketch plane and the Top surface of the model and then create a series of points on the Intersection spline and add on plane or coincident relations to a plane or a pierce point to a section curve that passes through plane.
If you are looking for a Visual Basic way I can offer a suggestion to try using Reference Geometry > Points because there is an equal space along curve max 100 points or a percentage option with more than 1 instance also maxes out a 100.
SolidWorks froze up on me just now because I lost the Measure dialog. I'm attaching a few pictures and will put example model up soon.

I think your idea of 'Reference geometry' would be a very good solution because what I 'd like to obtain is at least 100 points for each intersection profile at equal distance each others and beginning from the leading edges of the profiles.
Many thanks again ,I 'll try it.
...But not at once ...I hope here on Christmas Holidays because my PC is broken down for the moment.
I 'll say you .
I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
