Cannot change values of exposed variables in custom properties

Cannot change values of exposed variables in custom properties

Cannot change values of exposed variables in custom properties

(OP)
Some of the variables I am trying to expose to show up in custom poroperties cannot be changed from the custom properties window, they are greyed out yet other ones that I expose can be changed just fine. I cannot find out the difference or if I can change the variable to not be greyed out somehow. Any ideas?

RE: Cannot change values of exposed variables in custom properties

Hi,

AFAIK this works as designed. By definition exposed variables can't
be changed or deleted from 'Custom' except 'density' and 'Accuracy'
(there might be some more that I don't know of).
Unchecking 'Expose' will delete the variable from the
'Custom' section

RE: Cannot change values of exposed variables in custom properties

That makes sense - exposing the variable suggests it's used in some property text in a draft file, so deleting it would break the link.
