Navisworks imports some ACAD as wire frame

When I open and/or merge and/or append some Acad files into Navisworks some of the objects come in as wire frame instead of solids. What can I do to correst this?

Thanks

RE: Navisworks imports some ACAD as wire frame

Are you sure that they're 3D solid objects in AutoCAD and not merely lines representing the edges?

RE: Navisworks imports some ACAD as wire frame

(OP)
Yes they are solids. I found out about Object Enablers and need to down load the correct ones. I believe the file I received was an ACAD MEP. My ACAD Arch 2010 displayed them correctly although my ACAD 2008 did not.

Thanks

RE: Navisworks imports some ACAD as wire frame

Ah yes. Navis needs the object enablers or the software installed on the system that creates the .nwc file. You could probably do a SaveAs in ACAD Arch.
