"Volts" power system software

"Volts" power system software

(OP)
I am researching electrical power system software for short circuit, circuit load and generator loading analysis etc. If you use Volts by Dolphin software how do you like it? How does it compare to ETAP, SKM or ESA Easy Power?

RE: "Volts" power system software

I looked at it a few years ago.  It has a nice interface and would be useful for NEC-based design and load calcs.  At that time, it did not do coordination TCCs, true power flow, or ANSI-based short circuit calcs.

I saw it more as a design tool, mostly for low voltage systems rather than an analysis tool.

Maybe it's changed since then, I don't know.
