Help calculating the Warping Torsional Constant, Cw

Help calculating the Warping Torsional Constant, Cw

(OP)
I have an irregular cruciform shape that I need to calculate the Warping Constant, Cw, for per CSA S6-06 10.9.3.2(a).  I have tried using LARSA section composer but I can not find a calculated Cw in any of the properties.  Does anyone know if AutoCAD or Microstation can pull out Cw?  Or some other software, hopefully that my company has?

Attached is the shape and points to define my shape.

Thanks

RE: Help calculating the Warping Torsional Constant, Cw

Hi,

try the cross section editor of AxisVM. the student version works fine. it might be a bit tricky in the beginning to get used to the software, but it is worth the effort
