Measure

Measure

(OP)
After I upgraded to SP5.0 (2009) this past weekend, measure is now buggy.
Part is in inches, but when I measure and want to display units in millimeters, a window pops up telling me "Please enter an integer between 2 and 256".

Anybody seen this? It happens with all files. Minor, but weird.

RE: Measure

when you have measure open click on the mm/inch icon at the top of the box and check your settings, it's either on "document settings" or "custom settings", should be on document and it will measure with your dim settings.

RE: Measure

From the Knowledge base... I knew I had seen this question before:

Question: Why is it not possible to change the number of decimal places shown in the Measure, Units/Precision settings box? A message appears stating "Please enter an integer between 2 and 256".

Answer: The "Please enter an integer between 2 and 256" message typically appears when the Fractions - Denominator value in the is set to a value of 1.  It is possible to continue measuring by enabling fractions and changing this integer value to any value above 1, as the message implies.

The value of 1 populated in the fractions field may be saved in one's template.  If so, modify the template to remove this value.
