Parts being activated when assembly loaded.
Parts being activated when assembly loaded.
(OP)
Using ST1(MP9) when I open an assembly all the parts are being activated. This isn't so bad on small assemblies, but in my top-level I am waiting for quite a time while it does this.
I have checked on the open file dialog and the defaults are set to inactive, simplified and simplified assemblies.
Anyone else had this problem or am I missing a setting?

IF not call GTAC and report it. It needs to be fixed.

RE: Parts being activated when assembly loaded.
I opened up the file this morning and nothing activated.
I expanded tree and highlighted parts and still everything fine.
Then I went to rotate the view using my SpaceExplorer and as soon as I touched it everything stopped while all parts were activated.
Then I closed the file and opened it up again - nothing activated. Rotated view and zoomed with mouse - still OK.
Rotate with SpaceExplorer - everything activates.
