Creating a common cutout sketch?

Creating a common cutout sketch?

Creating a common cutout sketch?

(OP)
It seems like I'm always wanting to put an RJ45 type cutout or DB9 connector on some electrical device I have to draw up. Can you use the tool box to save these kind of sketches for later use or is there a better way?

RE: Creating a common cutout sketch?

Investigate "library feature".  That keyword in the SolidWorks help should get you where you need.

The D-Cutout already exist in the Design Library. Look under Features > Sheetmetal
