I've got an STL file that I bought from turbosquid. I wanted to attack it with Featureworks, but the "recognize features" option is greyed out in the pull-down menu. The menu only has "Options".

Am I doing something wrong?

(SW2009 sp2)

RE: Featureworks - SW2009

When importing the STL, did you first set the import options to Solid Body?

Thanks corey. That add-on..(mostly) worked. The file is pretty massive. So I only got most of the file. It's missing some bits. I'll have a guy at work try it tomorrow on his 64 bit machine. My laptop is good, but it aint THAT good

(BTW, how do you change import options? I'm ot finding it)
