Modeler error NX4

Modeler error NX4

Modeler error NX4

(OP)
I am trying to create a section view from a revolved model.

I've tried most of the corrective actions in the detailed description, and have a hunch that there is something wrong with the model. But it's not anything immediately apparent.

Any ideas?

RE: Modeler error NX4

There's nothing apparent to me either but that's because there's simply nothing like enough information provided to be able to tell. Without a part file or even an image of what you're attempting it is impossible to say more than that they work for everyone else most of the time.

Best Regards

RE: Modeler error NX4

A search on the GTAC solutions archive revealed that the error is due to a bug in the earlier versions of the Parasolid kernel.

Subject: [PR-01533455] can not create section view - modeler error

.

The problem occurs in all versions of NX4 /NX4.1.3 / NX4.0.2.2

The problem where there is a modeling error when trying to create a section view is fixed in Parasolid Versions 18.01.197 and 19.00.111 which will be in NX5.0.1 and NX6.0.
