Voltage Regulator Testing

(OP)
I have a couple older Siemens voltage regulators model AS60-1A.  I am looking for information on testing these devices.  I cannot locate a manual for these.  They have 14 connections and two 12 position rotary dial switches.  Each dial switch has a small pot on it.  The terminals are marked 1 (U), 2 (V), 3 (W), 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (Mp), 9, 10 (K), 11 (X1), 12 (Y1), 13 (Z1) and 14 (J).  From the small diagram on the front, terminals 5 to 7 inclusive are for jumpers to select the voltage.  Terminals 4 and 9 connect either directly for "onne auB.Soll-St" or "mit auB.Soll-St".  Looks like the latter may have something to do with a variable resistor.  Any information would be great.  Thanks!
