assembly drawing problem

assembly drawing problem

assembly drawing problem

(OP)
im having a problem with assembly drawings. i have assembled a mould where i created cavity and core with subtracting product through linking it to plates.
product outer edge was created with revolved command. i have revolved studio spline  with a 1mm offset to get the product as showed in "product" image. in the product drawing it shows all edges correctly.

but in assembly drawings as in "assm drawing" image.. outer edge is upset. some times when i update the drawing it automatically corrects itself. but then when close and reopen it.. its upset again.

i have tried loading product manually before opening the assm. and unselecting load assemblies partially option. nothing worked. im using NX6.

pls need help on this.
all the other curves are displayed correctly.only this edge has the problem.randomly it correct itself sometimes.

RE: assembly drawing problem

First question, are any of the components in the assembly faceted?  If not, try a smaller Drawing view tolerance.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

mm..i just did normal modeling.. i think they r not facted...
if so how to turn it off?
how can i try a smaller drawing tolerance???

sorry im little new for this.

RE: assembly drawing problem

To check for faceted component, go to the Assembly Navigator and select the component that represents the plate, press MB3, select 'Replace Reference Set' and make sure that it's set to 'Model', which should be grayed-out.  If it's not, select it.

As for the display tolerance, select the View, press MB3, select 'Style' and under the 'General' tab you'll find an entry for 'Tolerance'.
