Cross section points - how to import then blend?

Cross section points - how to import then blend?

(OP)
Hi,

I have files with point locations that define cross sections that I want to import to Pro E, then blend those cross sections together.  I've been reading posts on here and think I need to create a spline for each cross section?  If anyone has some more details on how they would do this I would really appreciate it - Thanks!

RE: Cross section points - how to import then blend?

ProE  uses *.pts tab delimited xyz points files that can be generated from excel or other.

While in sketcher you can create a sketcher csys and sketch a 2 point spline and hit Modify icon.
In the command bar you'll see a import option and can select the .pts file to import.
