Knockout drum automatic drain.

Knockout drum automatic drain.

Knockout drum automatic drain.

(OP)
Hi all,

Does anyone have an idea on how to drain knockout drums automatically? The drums are used to escape vapor accumulated in the top of road tankers while they are filled with hydrocarbon products through bottom loading. Sometimes, the vapor is accumulated in the drum that causes filling operation to stop through a signal received from high level sensor fixed in the drum. The knockout drum is equiped with manual drain valve in the bottom.

Thanks

RE: Knockout drum automatic drain.

A control valve steered by a level instr. at the drum perhaps?

RE: Knockout drum automatic drain.

A little more information is needed.

What are the hydrocarbons?

Where does the condense go?

Is there any water involved?

What are you sizes of KO Drum
