ASME nameplate

ASME nameplate

ASME nameplate

(OP)
"ASME nameplates (where required) shall be mounted..". this is an item about marking on fired heater coil spec.

In what situation these ASME nameplates are required?

RE: ASME nameplate

When you design, fabricate, inspect and test a pressure system / equipment in accordance with a relevant ASME code, the code will also specify the type of marking you may or you should use on that equipment. For example, the ASME VIII is the pressure vessel code which prescribes how you can build a safe vessel and it also prescribes the type of nameplate you have to use for the vessel identification and certification.
