BOM / Balloon / Config question

BOM / Balloon / Config question

BOM / Balloon / Config question

(OP)
Hello all,
I have a drawing with multipe views from different configurations of the assembly.  One view is of a configuration that has a lot of parts suppressed for that config only.  This is making the ballons wrong on the drawings as it is numbering the parts as the order in the config (unsuppressed parts).  In other words what should be balloon 9 is showing as balloon 3 because 6 prior parts in the assembly order have been suppressed.  I hope I am making this clear enough.  Is there a way to change this so the numbering is correct?

Sorry, I forgot the following info:

SW09 SP4.1
Vista x64
PDMWorks Enterprise
EXCEL BASED BOM option

RE: BOM / Balloon / Config question

Click on the BOM to open the BOM Manager
In the Item Numbers section, select [b]Follow assy order[/]b] and Do not change item numbers

I thought there was an option for Keep Missing Lines or similar, but I don't see it now.

Hi CBL,
This is an Excel Based BOM and not the SW BOM.

RE: BOM / Balloon / Config question
