RE: How do I hook up this DC mtr?
Motor appears to be a reversible type, with separate supplies required for the field and armature. No specs means no idea of what voltages or currents are involved. Polarity of field is likely, but certain, achieved with neg connected to white. If so, and red / black of armature connected + / -, should allow turns in direction called out on drawing.
With so little info, best be careful when testing. Bump test recommended. Megger both field and armature prior to excitation.
Is there nameplate info?

Measure the resistance of the field. If the resistance is such as to allow connection to rated voltage, the motor is a shunt or compound motor. Connect the field and the armature in parallel.
If the field resistance is close to a dead short, the motor is is either a series motor or burned out.
The field and armature circuits are connected in series in a series motor.
