Diameters won't plot in NX6. Is there a setting that needs adjusted to fix this problem?

RE: nx6 diameters won't plot?

Are we talking about the edge of a hole or boss, or the diameter symbol, or something else?

I am talking about holes and bosses. arcs and fillets will plot.

RE: nx6 diameters won't plot?

We were having a similar problem after downgrading to 6.0.1.5 (long story).  Circles would plot but they would be very light.  This is the solution we were given:

"If you have been downgraded in UG you have to make a new environment variable.

This is under start->settings->control panel->system->advanced tab->environment variables.

Under user variables click "new" then for...

Variable name: UGII_SDI_HPGL2_REVERT

Variable value: 1

You can cut and past this information into the boxes.

Hit okay and reboot your computer."

Maybe a different problem, but worth a shot.

RE: nx6 diameters won't plot?

We had a similar problem, as mmauldin describes, and that fix worked for us.  BUT, once Siemens fixed the issue, that env variable caused the last few inches of our large plots to not be printed.  Removing the env variable fixed that, so keep it in mind for the future.

Everything should be designed as simple as possible, but not simpler.
