Exaggeration factor

Exaggeration factor

We have recieved a random vibration spec and it defines exaggeration factor. That would imply that the levels given are accelerated?

RE: Exaggeration factor

Was the original spec in another language, so an interpreter or translator was required?

The effect is not unlike what sometimes happens when double integrating acceleration to create displacment information.

RE: Exaggeration factor

The spec is in original english language, so no translator involved. I am asking what it means. It says "Exaggeration factor" Exacly as it is spelled here. With these levels an Exposure duration is defined. Normally when Random vibration levels are accelerated to shorten test time, the levels are increased. Is this what Exaggeration factor means? Any help is appreciated.

RE: Exaggeration factor

Strangely if you put "Exaggeration Factor" into Google you will find exactly what you need in 0.26 seconds according to my PC.
