Thickness of electrical insulation for resistance heating coil
Thickness of electrical insulation for resistance heating coil
(OP)
For resistance heating coils (NiCr60) that are 30 gage, what are some of the methods to electrically insulate them? I need something that is at most 4mil thickness (0.004") due to space constraints.
So far options I looked at include ceramic, wire coating resins, thermally conducting epoxy, and aluminum oxide coating. Is there any option I have not explored yet?
Thanks.
