Cut Loft question

Cut Loft question

Cut Loft question

(OP)
Using SW 2006

Sketch A is an ellipse major axis = 1 ; minor axis = 0.75

Sketch B is an ellipse with LARGER major and minor axes but with same ratio, using equation to drive minor axis.  The two ellipses are spaced one inch apart on parallel planes.

The cut loft feature develops the drive curve (straight line)automatically.

The solid body being cut is rectangular 1 X 0.75.

I want to cut away from the solid body EXTERNAL to the ellipses but it is being cut INSIDE the ellipses and I do not see the option to reverse from inside to outside.

How to reverse the cut?

RE: Cut Loft question

You can't reverse the cut of a loft. It cuts between profiles. Change your profiles to what you want to remove and that will fix your issue.
