Bearing sleeve material

(OP)
Hello,

Can anybody help me to find information about Rubber/Monel Shell material?. This material is used as bearing sleeve for a vertical pump.

Regards,
Miguel Díaz.

RE: Bearing sleeve material

These bearings are essentially the same as marine shaft  bearings
You can have different metal for the sleeve while most of the liners are Nitrile rubber.  A common name for this type bearing is "cutless".  Number of these bearings are made by the Duramax Company. The Thordon company has made inroads into the vertical pump bearing markets.
The second url for Thordon has a lot of information on this type bearing.
