LTSCALE problem
LTSCALE problem
(OP)
I'm having an ltscale problem that is driving me nuts. I'm trying to set up a template drawing.
I have a layout with one viewport. The paperspace limits are 0,0 - 17",11". The model space limits are 0,0 - 136',88'. The viewport scale is 1/8" = 1'.
PSltscale is set to 1.
To get my linetypes (let's use dashed)to show up correctly in the model space of the viewport, I have to use a ltscale of .25. That seems like an odd number to me. But then when I go to the model tab, the dashed line appears solid. If I change the ltscale to 12 the linetype shows up fine in the model tab but it is solid in the viewport again.
What am I missing? Thanks!
Teri

RE: LTSCALE problem
There is a solution (my prefered method) and that's to leave your PSLTSCALE set to 1 and work around the problem that when you go into modelspace to edit your drawing your linetypes don't immeadiately show up. All you need to do is temporarily change the LTSCALE value while you're working in modelspace so you can see the lines as they will appear in paperspace. I wrote a bit more detail about this in another post, you may find it helpful, have a look here:

Hope that helps
