Has anybody been able to successfully deploy Inventor 2008 under Windows7? If you have please let me know how you did it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply EngAddict, but its not that simple. I have tried to install several times, but the sticking point is getting the content center to install. You require a tcp port 80 for vault to be opened. So far I have not been successful in achieving this requirement. If anyone has knowledge of how this is done can they please let me know. Microsoft in all their wisdom have changed the way this is done from Vista & XP, which were quite straight forward.

RE: Inventor 2008 on Windows7

Yeah, Vault and ADMS are another story to Inventor 2008. Are you able to install it on the server instead?

RE: Inventor 2008 on Windows7

As of today you cannot install any version of Inventor on a Windows 7 operating system without issues. Just wait a while. The Windows 7 disks won't disappear or melt through your desk.
