Iproperties list for files in a common folder ?

Hi,

Is it possible to get a BOM like report for a group of part files that are in a common folder ? (I want to avoid having to create an assembly just to get that report). I need 2 or 3 properties like Title and Part#.

Thanks,

Fred

Try the Design Assistant.  It is Outside of Inventor, just look in your Start Menu and drill down to find it.

Yes, I knew about this but my problem is that I can not list all the files in the subfolders and also I can't seem to be able to choose which properties I want in the report...

RE: Iproperties list for files in a common folder ?

???? File  --> Open Folder

Works fine for me and I can pick which iProperties I want with View --> Customize

Hi,

You're right about View/Customize ! Thank you.
I still cannot list all files in different subfolders though...

I managed to get a report though by using Tools/Reports/Properties/All.

It's not ideal but it's better than having to open each file of my library.

Thanks for your help.

Fred
