Looking for a manual Jack Screw

Looking for a manual Jack Screw

Looking for a manual Jack Screw

(OP)
Looking for a hand operated jack screw, I think they may be called jack nuts or post jack screw.  I need something industrial.  I am not looking for the standard jack screws with hand wheels, rather, this one (I have a pic) is manuall spun, with arms that retract, and is lockable.  It operates on an acme thread and is in the range of 3-5 ton load.  I know they exist, but maybe in Europe (as this is where the pic is from).  I am looking for manufacturers, North American preferred

imaqt,

   Have you searched McMaster Carr?

That photo could be of a custom part of some kind.  You can buy ACME threaded rod.  All you have to do is tap the nut, assuming you cannot find one off the shelf, then attach handles.

Look at a standard scaffold screw jack..  You could put a piece of pipe over the screw and get some pretty good lifting power.

Here is the oldest and one of the best, the Simplex.

Welder's pipe stands. You can find all sorts and sizes at the local welding supply store

Here is the ubiquitous post jack.

If all this fails skip out to the local RV store and look around for mechanical leveling jacks.

RE: Looking for a manual Jack Screw

If you go to McMaster-Carr, you can get the screw thread.  You can also get a variety of nuts.  Many of these nuts are easily to adapt to what ever handle you want to put on it.

RE: Looking for a manual Jack Screw

I would like to inform anyone about building your own screw jack, which is fine as long as you are the only user and no one else could get hurt while you are using it.
This following happened at my workplace where as most companies there were a number, over 100, of homemade pipe jack stands distributed between site personnel and contractors.  One of these stands failed and hurt, crushed knee, a welder's helper.  They were never able to get his knee right so he got an artificial knee and had no job.  He sued the site and contractor and would have sued the person who built the pipe stand but there was no signature on it. He sue for a bundle but settled out of court.
All pipe jack stands on site are now purchased and carry property number to trace their origin. All are built to some standard.

Thanks to all who answered.

I was hoping to find a COTS item, but it looks like all these solutions require me to modify them in some manner to suit my application.  Looks like its a custom job.
