How to secure cement rocks underwater???

How to secure cement rocks underwater???

How to secure cement rocks underwater???

(OP)
Im working on a huge aquarium and we have to secure some cement rocks on the bottom. what is the best way to seal them or secure them??please help me..

RE: How to secure cement rocks underwater???

How big an aquarium are you building? What is the aquarium constructed of? What are the "cement" rocks made from? Shouldn't the rocks sink in water?

RE: How to secure cement rocks underwater???

Concrete rocks would sink in water. Are these 'rocks' going to be painted or stained? I would use concrete anchors installed in the 'rock' and place a 2 inch layer of concrete on the floor of the tank. Other that that, what do you think could move these 'rocks'?

Maybe the "cement rocks" are the bottom. I would guess the aquarium has a concrete base slab and then a curved wall and roof system to make an enclosed water retaining glass tank.

I've visited a couple of huge aquariums (or is that aquaria)that you can walk through with fish either side and above. Drowning always seems a possibility.
