Nutrients recovery from sludge

Nutrients recovery from sludge

(OP)
Hi,

I want to recover some nutrient (ammonia and ortho phosphate) from an effluent sludge similar to the wastewater sludge, That contains high total nitrogen value. I used oxygen peroxide and heat to hydrolyze the sludge, I recovered reasonable amount, but at high concentration of peroxide, thus high cost, I would like to know if there is a cheaper oxidizer as efficient as the oxygen peroxide (I tried chlorine peroxide but it is not effecient), or any other mean to recover those nutrients.

Thanks guys
