Max No. of Openings in 2:1 SE Heads

(OP)
Simple question - Take a 2:1 SE Head on a Div I vessel. What is the maximum number of nozzle openings (in terms of area m2 relative the the dished area) that I am allowed to place on the head? Are there any restrictions on this by ASME Code? If so which para?

Many thanks.

I think the limitations would be on spacing and maintaining reinforcing rather than a number.

RE: Max No. of Openings in 2:1 SE Heads

can put lot's of little bitty i/2" couplings

but not so many 24" nozzles

Thanks, just as I thought!
