Underground water wash tank in vault lifted up in rainy weather
Underground water wash tank in vault lifted up in rainy weather
(OP)
We are building a power project which has two gas turbines. Each has a waterwash tank housed underground in a concrete vault. During a recent rain event water ingress caused one of the tanks in underground vault to raise the piping through the roof penetration by a good 6-8" while the other did not. What could be the possible reason?

Drainage, or lack of same, is the real reason.
