NX4 error question

NX4 error question

NX4 error question

(OP)
Hello,
I have a question about a common error I get in NX4.  When I have grouped a bunch of features and try to do a circular array I sometimes get an error that says "Internal error: invalid solid object tag."  If I remove all of the features from the group feature (so now its empty) and then do the circular array (so nothing happens), I can then start adding features back to the group until I get another error.  At this point I know which feature caused the error and can circular array it seperately, outside the group.  Does anyone know why this happens?  It does not seem to happen consistently with any particular feature.
Thanks,
Rick

RE: NX4 error question

Try doing a complete and full 'Part Cleanup' on your model and then repeat your modeling steps.  If the problem persists, please contact GTAC and provide them with the part file.

RE: NX4 error question

Have you tried pattern face? I much prefere this over arrays, less memory intensive as well.
