hello everybody
i need help
can we weld killed carbon steel like a333 gr.3 to carbon steel? i mean physical and mechanical propertis of killed carbon steel remain after welding to carbon steel? and what is the proper electrode for this kind of welding? Is aws e7018-1 a good choice?

A-333 Gr3 is a 3 1/2% Nickel alloy steel - not a killed carbon steel. Assuming that you are welding a non-killed steel like A-53 B to it at a spec break where impacttesting is not required, E7018-1 or E7018 is a good choice.
