Hello everyone,

Anyone knows how they managed to steer the wheels like that to turn on a dime ?

Do they just have 2 rams connected to the steering column (for standard steering) and they disconect them from each other for that position on the picture ?

Definitly impressive engineering there!

RE: Jeep Hurricane Steering

The steering side is obvious.

The powertrain, not so much. Maybe freewheeling hubs?

Cheers

RE: Jeep Hurricane Steering

It could be an over running clutch system, we use similar systems in some products at work.  With the drop at the wheel I would guess this is what it is.

Engineering has always been my love, but it ended up being my second career...
