Assy configuration

Assy configuration

(OP)
Hi it's me again !!

Is there a way to made different set-up of the same assy and put it into a draft ?

Ex. Suppose I have a door who move with a cylinder. I want to make 2 view in a draft in the two position:
Door closed (cylinder out)
Door opend (cylinder in)

But I wont delete my constraints, create 2 assy or anything like this.

Please help !

RE: Assy configuration

I would suggest to use 'Alternate Position' assembly for that.
You should find a description in SE's help

RE: Assy configuration

Donyoung you're right on as always!

The way I normally do this is to create the cylinder as an Alternate position assembly so I have the cylinder position retracted and extended available, then I use it to control the position of the door in an Alternate position assembly of the door itself.

I hope my explanation is not too confusing!
