Adding fastener at the beggining of restart analysis?

Adding fastener at the beggining of restart analysis?

Adding fastener at the beggining of restart analysis?

(OP)
Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to add a fastener at the start of a restart analysis. Im using the following code to try; however, I get a "system error code 5". Can someone tell me if it is possible, and i just have something going wrong, or no its not possible? I would have thought if it isnt possible it would say so, not give a system error.

*FASTENER PROPERTY, NAME=swproperty
5
*FASTENER, INTERACTION NAME = fast01, ELSET = spot_weld01, PROPERTY = swproperty
0, 1, 0
lower_part_surface, upper_part_surface

fast01 is a CONN3D2 element with a BEAM connector section assigned to it. Also, the connector element and section are defined in the original analysis, not sure if this may be contributing to the observed error. I tried having them in the restart file, but it told me they were not defined when i tried to access them in the fastener definition.

Thanks in advance
Adam
