Importing exploded view
Importing exploded view
(OP)
Is it possible to use an existing exploded view in an new assembly? I have two exploded views in two configurations in each assembly. Each exploded view has about 150 steps and then exploded lines are added.
Because I have very similar assemblies (components are different) with few changes I would like to use existing exploded view, which I made in first assembly and then import it to other seven assemblies and then I can repair some steps and replace components I need to.
This would spare me a lot of work but I don't know if it is possible. Maybe with macro it would be possible?

RE: Importing exploded view
If I now take the first assembly and replace these existing ones, I have too much work editing these assemblies (they have some differences).
Is there any other way possible to take an exploded view from existing assembly and import it to another exisitng assembly?

Unless someone has a trick to do this, I don't know of a way to copy the exploded view from one assy to another.
