Term "CJ El"
Term "CJ El"
(OP)
Hello,
Quick question as I'm a mechanical engineer having trouble understanding a drawing.
The drawing is for the detail plan and elevation of a retaining wall, and it keeps noting "CJ El". I'm assuming this references a certain point/elevation, but I'm having trouble finding the original "CJ" on one of over 50 dwgs.
Is the abbreviation "CJ" a common one? What does it stand for?
Thanks in advance!

Is there not a legend of abbreviations?
RE: Term "CJ El"
The "E" could possibly mean "each". Is the last letter an "I" or an "L"? Is it a tall wall perhaps over 10 feet? If L, it could mean "each lift" or each concrete pour. Tall walls must be placed in multiple steps if it is a tall wall which means multiple construction joints.
