hi
i use sap2000 and i find that the column defined from
center .
dos it mean that when he make analysis that he consider
the column from center line ?
if yes that means that the program dosn t take the whole
section in analysis and it affect the result?
please i need help so quickly

hi...

of course u should not get the results of the c.l. of the column...cos it doesnot reflect the real thing ...
but what we do we take a 80% of the bending moment measured at a certin distance which is 1/2 of the column offset distance....
