3-ply Laminated Glass with E1300

How do I apply the specifications of ASTM-E1300 for laminated glass with 3 plies of glass and 2 interlayers?  Can I simply add all layers together and use the equivalent minimum thickness as in 3.2.3.2 and extrapolate the values in Table 4?  The design I'm checking uses 3-10mm plies with 2-1.52mm PVB interlayers.

RE: 3-ply Laminated Glass with E1300

What are you trying to design for... blast, wind, impact?

Just a uniform wind pressure.

RE: 3-ply Laminated Glass with E1300

I didn't think it would matter, but E-1300 (at least the 02 version) says it is for 2 pieces only.  Why do you need to use 3 pieces?  Why can't you use two pieces?

RE: 3-ply Laminated Glass with E1300

I think SEIT is right, E-1300 only covers windows with 2 lites.  I imagine that it would be conservative to assume two lites, and that should be all you need unless the wind load is really high. Since the failure mechanism of the window would be tension, I guess you'd check the inner 2 lites and ignore the outer for positive pressure and do the opposite for negative pressure.

I'm reviewing an existing design, therefore 3 plies is what I have, and I'd like to be able to correlate with E1300 if it's possible.

@steellion, yeah, that's along the lines of what I was going to do if I couldn't find any provisions for the additional layers.
