Is it possible to add new tool parameter like price, dealer..., so i could have all information on one spot. My tols require mor information that ones provided.

This information can be added to the tool library using customization.

You can add some extra information by adding a column to tool_database.dat and add a DB_ID extry into dbc_tool_ascii.def But the drawback is you wont be able to edit it in NX interface just like other parameters.

I use catalogue number field for this purpose which i can edit interactively. Once I have the catalogue number i open the Seco catalogue and search.

The library system was introduced in V16, which was 10 releases ago, so no problem doing this in NX7.

Be aware that with each new release, if the out of the box library accell files are modified, you may need to merge your additions with the latest release.
