MathCAD - Long Equation Formating
MathCAD - Long Equation Formating
(OP)
So here is the deal. I have generated a MathCAD document that contains many very long automatically generated equations. These equations prevent me from properly formatting the document for printing (they run pass the right edge page break). I know that I can hit CTRL+ENTER in the middle of equations that I write, but there does not seem to be anything analogues for automatically generated equations. I do not want to break up equation solutions into pieces just so that I can get it all onto one sheet – for my application this would be too cumbersome.
Has anyone else struggled with this before – any suggestions?
Is there a way to delete soft page breaks (dotted line breaks corresponding with the edge for the page size selected)?

RE: MathCAD - Long Equation Formating
For what it is worth, here is my typical work around. I use File – Page Setup to select the biggest page size possible, (ex. 92" x 92"). I then create horizontal page breaks to break up my work into a logical fashion. I then print the file to PDF and crop out the white margins. The only issue with this is that pages with short equations end up with larger font in the final PDF while pages with really long equations end up with smaller font (the view is effectively zoomed out). It is a bit clunky but it gets me by.
