Visio is currently being used to document status of client's chemical process units and am interested in learning if a font size of 4 can be added to the available text size options.

I would also like to change the arrowhead default settings ... selecting a specific type of arrowhead, end position on line segment, and very small arrowhead.

As you can probably guess, I am trying to maximize the quantity of information depicted on each page and the smaller font and arrowhead sizes are required.

Small text block and desired arrowheads have been added to my stencils, but the stencils are usually minimized.

Need to confess that I am currently using Visio as a big Etch a Sketch and hope any suggestions can be followed by this simple Etch a Sketch operator.

Thanks for input

RE: text size settings

The FORMAT > LINE command will set the default for the active sheet.

You can take this a step further....

Now save the blank sheet, with the changes made through the format menu, as a template.
(ie. FILE > SAVE AS > yourname.vst). These default settings will now be availiable whenever you start a new document with this template. The template should be put in the "Solutions" folder where Visio is loaded so that it can be accessed though the 'NEW' menu.

You will have to start Visio again in order for the template to appear in the menus.
